PDR 1878 Capa Natural
Country of origin: Dom. Rep.
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut
Binder: Dom. Rep. Criollo
Filler: Dom. Rep. Criollo, Nic. Criollo
First sight: Smooth and silky by look and touch, though it gets a bit bumpy around the cap area. Nice piggy tail on it.
Aroma: Oaky in aroma, almost a sweet wine cask is undertoned.
Taste: I was getting from the start some woody characteristics. With a hint of cream/sweetness. Toss in some spice, but ever so subtle.
Construction: Good draw, and a nice even burn.
**First cigar of the day, with a cup of Folgers coffee with lots of sugar and non diary creamer.
