The Montecristo Nicaragua Series is a full-bodied Nicaraguan puro, crafted by A.J. Fernández and produced at Tabacalera A.J. Fernández Cigars de Nicaragua S.A., in Estelí, Nicaragua. The release, now in expanded distribution, uses only hand-selected Nicaraguan tobaccos for its wrapper, binder, and filler blend components, culminating in a luxurious new extension of the time-honored brand. Montecristo Nicaragua Series was initially envisioned by Fernandez himself, along with Altadis’ resident cigar master Rafael Nodal — the head of product capability for sister company Tabacalera U.S.A.

Each Montecristo Nicaragua Series cigar is impeccably crafted by hand, and is adorned with an eye-catching black band that features the brand’s iconic fleur de lis logo. In the spirit of Montecristo’s other core offerings, Montecristo Nicaragua Series cigars will have a second band, letting adult cigar smokers know the distinction of their premium cigar selection.
